DragonCon wrap-up, Friday night

Listened to James Marsters talk about his role in Moonshot, he was hilarious and so incredibly knowledgable about the science of NASA. Then stood in a long line to get his autograph. I told him it was for his #1 fan (my friend who had the motorcycle accident last year). He asked me several questions about her recovery, said he thought that was wonderful she'd done so well, and also asked me to tell her she has impeccable taste.

Then I went to the bar and drank.

Time for the photo op. I was early and saw Misha leaving from the solo photo-op thing he'd just done. I said "Hey, I put on mascara for this shit, I expect to be molested in my picture." He agreed and told me he'd just realized his belt was all twisted up for the photos he'd just finished taking. I said "Well, you'd better fix that". When I came back for my picture with him and Mark Sheppard, Mark walked by the group of us in the hall and asked "What are you lot waiting around for?" I said we were waiting for his ass to show up and he laughed and said "Well now I'm here". When it was my turn to have my picture taken, I walked up and Misha said "Oh, it's the girl with the mascara." Then he noticed my tattoo poking out from the top of my shirt, touched it and said "Wait, what's this?" Mark said "It's a breast". Miraculously, I did not faint. Then they took the picture and I ran out of the room hoping to not die or pee in my pants or something.

Then I went to the bar and drank.

I took the train home. I'm planning to go back tomorrow and Monday, but probably not today because I already left my kids with a friend for one night and I don't really want to do it two nights in a row.

I am not sure if I'm allowed to post my picture on here or not. If anyone knows, and it's not against some kind of rule, then I'll post it.

Ah, that is so awesome! I'm waiting for my digital copies and then I'll be posting mine too :) I'm sorry I didn't see your message until late, this weekend was insane (as I am sure you know) and I had almost no access to the internet.

I'm glad you had fun, I know I did! Though now I'm all post-con depressed, haha. I miss being surrounded by geeks already.

HA! No, seriously, he had his hand on my tattoo for like half a second, it wasn't like he was trying to feel me up or anything.

I did NOT kiss James Marsters but while we were talking I reached out and put my hand on his bicep. It was like an automatic reaction, I just could not stop myself. He's still just so fucking pretty.
