Fandom: True Blood. Warning: SPOILERS for the recent season, airing now.
At first, Marnie had no idea what was happening to her. She only knew that she had these…powers…that she’d never seen before, never even dreamt of. When she’d made that terrifying vampire flee with an incantation she’d never spoken or read, she knew there had to be bigger plans in store for her.
All was revealed to her when Antonia explained why it had been necessary to possess Marnie’s body. She had needed a body in order to carry out her plans, and Marnie’s lack of skill in witchcraft was more than made up for by her enthusiasm.
Now that she’d possessed a body, one who’d given itself up freely, Antonia could set about exacting her revenge. It was slow going, but she’d picked up a few allies, and no doubt there would be more.
Fleetingly, as she looked down at the circle around her feet, she thought at some point she’d be strong enough to possess a body more to her liking.
