Question for my flisters who do vids - and another question for my LJ buds

I have a desperate need for a specific vid - just wondering if anyone might have expertise in this area and might be willing to make it for me? If so, I would happily go on a date with you, or bake you an award-winning peach crisp with ice cream on top, or write you a fic, or...well, those are really the only things I'm any good at, unless you need an appellate brief written or a complaint that needs to be answered within 30 days, so I have nothing else to offer. Anyone? Anyone? Beuller? (Fuck, now I'm not sure if most of my flist is old enough to get that reference)

Also, I am so so so very grateful to have a chance to talk on the phone with one of my LJ friends tonight and (hopefully) offer a little advice that might be helpful (God I hope so). I'd really like to get to know some of my LJ friends a little better, on a more personal level, and I'm wondering - do any of y'all keep in close contact through IM kind of chat or emails or phone calls or seeing each other if you live within a decent proximity? Many folks here have been kind enough to counsel me when I'm weary and inspire me when I'm museless, and it would be great for me if I had the opportunity to return the favor sometimes.

I talk to several people on MSN and twitter. My facebook isn't really for fandom. I do have yahoo but don't use it as much as my MSN.

I have a few people that we have exchanged phone numbers and one or two I have met in person. Other than that its LJ baby... lol

I try to keep in close contact with some of my flist. I usually do it through IM, twitter, or email. IMing is my favorite, though.

I'm close with a couple of my lj friends. We IM a lot through AIM. I used to use MSN Messenger, but I kept getting viruses from it, so I don't use it anymore. In fact, one of them is coming to visit me for my birthday. I'm excited about that. =)

I mostly stay in the loop with LJ but do have some contact with email. I tried the twitter experience but wasn't into it. I used to be on msn but haven't been on in ages. Probably to escape the guys from the Internet dating site I was on. Have you ever used yahoo messenger? I've never tried it.
