verucasalt123My SDOTP mini gets posted on the 30th, and I can't wait. The art is amazing, y'all are going to shower my artist with tons of love and affection, I'm sure.
Still making changes suggested by my beta for the Sastiel bang, but I've got plenty of time for that. Have not seen any drafts of art for it but my artist has told me what she has in mind.
Gotta start thinkin' about which direction to go in for my RBB story. The art is so great and it gives me a whole lot of leeway for what kind of fic I can do. I mean, it's gonna be Wincest, no big shocker there, but as far as plot and conflict, I have a lot of freedom.
My TW holiday exchange fic is KILLING me. My giftee has a whole bunch of very specific likes and don't likes, which is making it a serious challenge. But I can do it :)
I'm using a borrowed laptop until my new one gets here Friday. GIVEN to me by a FB friend I went to high school with and haven't seen in 20 years. She saw my thread discussing it with my brother, who has mad skillz with technology, and popped in to say "Hey, I've got a perfectly working laptop sitting in a closet because I wanted to buy a new one with fancier graphic something or other" (paraphrased, of course), "so I'll just sent my other one to you". People, man. One very important lesson I've learned from the clusterfuck that has been my life for the past month and a half is that people are amazingly kind and generous and I am incredibly fortunate to have such a wonderful support network.
I had almost everything saved to dropbox already so the only things I can't recover are the beginnings of two of my wishlist fics. But that's okay, I'm so glad I saved everything to Dropbox the minute I noticed the machine acting funny.
Going to attend V's school play tomorrow night (they're doing Clue) and I can't wait.
I've been awake since Saturday, no sleep at all last night or today, so I'm hoping my body will shut itself down tonight. Wish me luck.

These days, I'm doing so many challenges/exchanges that my own ideas have had to get back-burnered, and I haven't been able to post any fic in forever! I mi9ss the interaction. I had to write some stuff for challenges that's outside my comfort zone, too... (including something for my Team Free Love exchange that turned out really FLUFFY! Fluff! Me!) :-} I decided not to worry too much about whether it's EXACTLY what my giftees want, I just hope they enjoy it. I'm sure yours will love what you write, since it'll be QUALITY, which is the most important thing!
