I did this last year and I thought I'd do it again. I've already seen it a few times on my flist and I hope that I can try to fulfill a wish for others as well. :-)

Step One
♥ Make an LJ post. It can be public or friends only, whatever you’re most comfortable with. The post should contain your list of ten holiday wishes, and these wishes can be anything - from simple (a fan fiction written about your favorite pairing), to medium (a DVD you want), to really extravagant (a brand new laptop or car). Just make sure these are wishes for things you really truly want.

Step Two
♥ Skim through your friends list and see who has posted their own wish lists. Then - and this is the most important part - if you find a wish you can grant, and it’s in your heart to do so, make sure that person’s wish comes true. Sometimes a person’s trash is another person’s treasure. If you have a leather jacket you don’t want or a gift certificate you’re never going to use, give it to someone who wants it.

Step Three
♥ Post this wish list any time after November 1st. Then repost it two weeks before Christmas.

♥ You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday fairy - to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not, it's your call.

♥ There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.



1. Schmoopy cavity-inducing fluff fic featuring slash pairings in SPN, BBC Sherlock or AtS. (What? I'm feeling sappy.) WISH GRANTED!!!

2. Podfic for anything I've written.

3. Banners or art for any of my fics. WISH GRANTED THREE TIMES!!!

4. Instant cure for a broken arm.

5. A million dollars to pay hospital and doctor bills for aforementioned broken arm.

6. TARDIS or other method of travel so I can visit my grandmom anytime I want.

OK, those 3 are obviously just silliness, so I'll make real ones.

4. Donations made to the Ronald McDonald House, since they were so kind to my parents while my baby sister was treated for childhood cancer. WISH GRANTED!!!

5. Let someone get in line in front of you at the grocery store when you have a cart-ful and they only have like 3 things.

8. Drapes or curtains someone might have stored away in a closet and isn't planning to use.

Just made a donation to the Ronald McDonald House. Thank you for mentioning it, they can't get enough donations. I haven't needed them personally, but I know people who did and I support the charity so much, and all charities for cancer. Again, thanks for mentioning it.

I also tried to let someone in front of me in line yesterday - he only had one can of soup - but he refused 0_o
