Still Monday?

I left work at 1:30 today to wait for the cable guy. Who, I just found out, will not be showing up at my house today as expected. This pisses me off. A lot.

Normally, I don't know that it would get me so aggravated. But today, I am PMS'd up to my eyeballs, and it's rainy and cold out, so I had kind of a head start on getting mad at the cable people.

Here is a message to myself: Calling Papa John's and ordering a giant pizza and eating the whole thing is not going to change the fact that I took half the day off work for no reason and my cable still isn't fixed and the people at Comcast are morons. Also, going to the Burger King drive-thru will not cure my cramps, headache and sore boobs, or otherwise alleviate my symptoms of impending menstruation.

It's probably not too early to start drinking, though.

Waiting on service is a drag

Three weekends ago I waited four hours on a Saturday only to have a no-show to get my dishwasher fixed. I called up the service company and let 'em have it. They rescheduled to this past Saturday again I lost half a great day only to find out they didn't have the freakin parts and would have to suck up next Saturday afternoon too. They'll be no tip for the repair guy. :-) At least you only lost an ugly day...
