Even with his preternatural strength, Spike recognized the weight of the suitcase he was carrying out to the car. In the moonlight, he looked down at the piece of luggage, large enough to carry just about every single thing he owned.

“What the hell have you got in here, Bit? It’s only a two day trip. I promised to have you back for a good night’s sleep before school on Monday.”

“It’s Los Angeles, Spike! I need at least three pairs of shoes a day, plus clothes and makeup and things for my hair.”

“And the kitchen sink?”, he asked.
