“What the hell are you doing here?”
Spike didn’t answer, just kept his steady pace, advancing toward the front of the room where Buffy thought she was going to mercifully chop the head off this Chaos demon. There was no fucking way on the planet he was going to let her decapitate this fucker and gift him with a quick and virtually painless death.
“Stand down, Slayer.”
“Screw you, Spike, I can handle this, why are you all growly over some random demon?”
“It’s not a random demon”, he responded, his voice cold. “I’ve got unfinished business with this one.”
