But it was a great weekend. My friend Necole came out to see me on Saturday, and brought her 8 year old daughter - she and Veronica are becoming friends quickly. They made brownies together and we all had a great time.

Sunday I dropped my girls off with their dad and headed to the Whippersnappers munch, which was terrific. I met lots of new people. Special thanks to those to whom I introduced myself as a ploy to taste their appetizers. I hope it wasn't impolite of me, but it was fried cream cheese, what else could I do? So, made new friends, and hopefully didn't make too much of an ass of myself. It doesn't look like I'm going to be at next weekend's WS but I'll definitely try to make it in March.

Last night I watched Lord of the Rings. For those who know me well, you know that sitting still and being quiet for 3 hours is a challenge for me, even when I'm watching a very good movie (which was the case), but especially when I've got a cute boy snuggled up to me on the sofa (which was also the case).

I did not watch the Superbowl, for the first time in as long as I can remember. But I didn't miss it. It was a good night.
