Extinct - drabble for Open on Sunday

“You’re not like any vampire I’ve seen before”, said the hunter, carefully appraising what kind of danger he might be facing.

“You mean the ones who can go into daylight without being turned to dust? Those aren’t vampires, not real ones. I’d thought they were extinct, actually.”

“So what are you?”

“Vampires are demons. I’m kind of an exception since I have a soul, but I’m still a demon. You gonna try to stake me?”

“I don’t see you as a threat, so no, probably not.”

“Well, that’s awful kind of you, kid”, Angel replied. The guy seemed nice enough.
